Congratulations to BCHS senior, Ray Tucker, for being named the 2025 STAR Student for Bacon County High School!
Ray is the son of Jim and Deon Tucker. He plans to attend Georgia Southern University this fall and then transfer to Georgia Tech to major in electrical engineering. Beyond academics, Ray plays baseball and runs cross country for the Raiders. He also contributes to his school community as a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and BETA Club and serves as the Vice President of his senior class.
The STAR Program is designed to recognize the student with the highest SAT score in their graduating class. Once selected, students choose a STAR teacher that they believe has impacted their life and educational career. Ray has chosen Mrs. Angela McLean as the 2025 STAR Teacher.
