Mr. Brent Johnson Selected as January Heart of Service Award Recipient

Mr. Brent Johnson has been selected as the January Heart of Service Award recipient. Mrs. Lori Johnson (November recipient) said the following about why she chose Mr. Johnson for this award:

It is with great honor and privilege that I stand before you today to celebrate a truly exceptional individual, a man whose heart beats for family, friends, and students.

Not only is he a professional; he is a mentor who instills a passion for learning and innovation in the minds of his students. His commitment to education goes beyond the classroom, extending into the realm of extracurricular and co-curricular activities.

As the advisor of a student-led organization, he has guided and nurtured young minds, fostering a spirit of creativity and problem-solving. Under his leadership, students have not only excelled in competitions but have also discovered the thrill of turning ideas into reality.

What sets this individual apart is not just his professional aptitude but his genuine care for each student. A true student advocate, he goes above and beyond to support athletes and students both inside and outside the classroom.

But his dedication doesn't stop there. To add, as a coach of a nontraditional sport, he has led his team to consistent victories. His strategic mind, and love for students who often possess introverted talents, have not only resulted in winning seasons but have also cultivated a sense of sportsmanship and camaraderie among his players.

Beyond the school gates, he wears the hat of a godly man and father. His values and principles shine through in every interaction, creating an environment of respect and kindness. As a sports broadcaster & commentator, he brings his passion for the game to a broader audience, enriching the viewing experience with his insightful commentary.

So, it is with great excitement that I pass this achievement off to Mr. Brent Johnson. Thank you for your dedication, your mentorship, and other impacts that you've left on our hearts and the hearts of our students. You are a true inspiration!

Congratulations, Mr. Johnson!
