Mrs. Lori Johnson is November Heart of Service Award Recipient

Mrs. Lori Johnson has been selected as the November Heart of Service Award recipient by Mr. Jimmy Scott (October recipient). Mr. Scott said the following about why he selected Mrs. Johnson:

As I pass the torch on to the next recipient, I want to express my gratitude for the chance to represent the Heart of Service Award for the past month. Within the core of BCHS, there exists an individual who selflessly contributes. She wears many hats as a wife, mom, daughter, granny, cardiologist, gourmet cook, emergency-situation specialist, a listening ear for anyone with a need, and always a snack for a pinching tummy. This person not only demonstrates reliability and a willingness to assist in any situation but also takes proactive measures to ensure the well-being of our students and staff. As I considered whom to pass the torch to, I realized this often-overlooked individual is exceptionally important. The role she plays in our school aligns perfectly with the qualities a true Heart of Service recipient should possess: compassion, approachability, flexibility, patience, advocacy for students, and, most importantly, love. She embodies each of these qualities, making her a deserving recipient of the award. I choose Lori Johnson for the November Heart of Service Award.
