Coach Noble Coley has selected Mr. JR Miles as the September Heart of Service Award recipient!
Coley said this about why he chose Mr. Miles:
When I hear the words Heart of Service, I don’t just think of just service to our students. I think of someone who is there when their school or coworkers are in need as well. I could have easily chosen anyone for this award because as educators, that’s what we were called to do. The person I have chosen as the next Heart of Service winner is someone who is there for not only our students but also our school and numerous times for myself. This individual, in my mind, has gone above and beyond to ensure that if I had an issue, it was resolved. I have witnessed this individual putting in countless hours after school, on weekends, and on days when we were not scheduled to be here. I have had many conversations with this individual on the amount of things they do for our students and our school and never once have I heard them complain. I am blessed to call this recipient a coworker and a friend and I also know that this individual will always be there for our students, our school, and myself. The recipient of this month’s Heart of Service award is JR Miles.
